Miyuki beads come from Japan. These glass beads are renowned for their regularity. They are very popular for creating jewellery, accessories and small figurines of your favourite characters (or animals, etc.). These beads owe their name to a Japanese company called Miyuki founded in the 1930s. While they are available in different varieties, the most popular are Miyuki Delica beads. These cylindrical shaped beads appear to have a square shape when viewed from the side. This is what distinguishes them from rocaille beads which have a rather rounded shape. Delica beads are perfectly regular as they are laser-cut with computer-assisted machine. This detail enables us to create beautifully finished jewellery. Miyuki beads come in several sizes. However, the most common is 11/0 which corresponds to a diameter of 1.3 mm and a height of 1.6 mm. This whole sizing system is innovative, as it is inspired by the size of the clothes (S, M or L). It is, of course, up to you to choose the bead size, depending on the intended use of the beads.
Miyuki Delica beads seduce bead lovers from all over the world. They are simple to use and can be worked from a loom. Their hole is also relatively large (0.8 mm) which makes them easy to handle when creating a piece of jewellery or any decorative objects. Its thin walls also allow a thread to be passed through several times. These Delica beads are perfect for weaving, using the peyote or brick stitch technique. The multitude of colours they come in is another great advantage of these beads. It enables your imagination to run wild, to create bracelets matching your outfits, or to design more original decorative elements. The shades of colour are of very high quality as well, allowing you to renew your creations ad infinitum.
This miyuki bead bracelet from the “Pour Elle et Lui” Collection, has the advantage of being original. The Minerals Kingdom team is committed to providing you with an elegant and high-quality bracelet. Additionally, this bracelet can be worn by both men and women, and can complement any outfit. To take care of your miyuki bead bracelet, you must, first of all, avoid water. Indeed, cleaning it with water could tarnish the beads or fade their colours. This would also affect the integrity of the fibres of the bracelet. To clean the dirt off the beads, use a soft cloth to wipe them off and keep your bracelet in excellent condition.
